Important announcement regarding our public meetings

During this time our responsibility is to pray and stand for the Lord’s interests (Eph. 6:10-20), to watchfully shepherd the flock of God (Acts 20:28), to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31), and to cooperate with governmental authorities (Rom. 13:1).
As believers, we are to meet together, yet we must exercise foresight and be prudent before both God and man (2 Cor. 8:21). We thus announce the following interim modifications to our meetings:

Ministry Reading:

  • Morning Revival: Week 5 of The All-Inclusive, Extensive Christ Replacing Culture for the One New Man

Local Meetings:

  • Prayer Meeting by Zoom: This week the prayer meeting will be in groups, Wednesday at 7:30 PM
  • Next Lord’s Day by Zoom:
    • Corporate meeting by languages at 9:45 AM to watch message 4 of International Chinese Speaking Conference

Conferences & Events:

  • Metroplex Conference: Click on the link of the church in Plano for the recordings and outlines of the messages in English, Chinese and Spanish: https://www.churchinplano.org/2021/01/2021-january-dfw-metroplex-blending-conference/
  • International Chinese Speaking Conference: The conference will be streamed in its entirety online on February 13th and 14th. Registration is not required. The messages can be accessed at https://www.conf.lsmwebcast.com/Preferences.cfm. We will watch message 4 together in a corporate Zoom meeting. Lord’s day 14th at 10:00 AM.
  • Gospel to All the Nations: It will be held by Zoom on February 20th at 3:00 PM. Those interested can send an email to serviceoffice@churchinirving.com requesting Zoom meeting link.
  • YP Connect: It will be held by Zoom on February 20th from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. This will be a a time for young people in grades 6-12. For more details go to www.metroplexyp.org.

  • Conference with Ricky Acosta: It will be held by Zoom meetings on February 27th and 28th
  • Regional Spanish Speaking Conference: It will be held by Zoom meetings on March 12th and 13th

Special Announcements:

  • Electronic Offerings: There are a few ways to give offerings electronically:
    • Zelle: in your bank’s website account go to payments & transfers, select Zelle and just type the church’s offering service email, ciiofferings@gmail.com then write the amount and it will be immediately deposited without any charge or fee.
    • Paypal: download the app and enter the church’s offering service email, ciiofferings@gmail.com, choose the payment type, and send without fees, a 3% fee will be applied if using a credit card.
    • Venmo: download the app and enter the church’s offering service email, ciiofferings@gmail.com, choose the payment type, and send without fees, a 3% fee will be applied if using a credit card.
  • Offerings to Persons: The church in Irving will only distribute to designated saints cash offering, but if the offering is a check or electronic deposit as per the IRS the church cannot be used as means of delivery. Such designated check or electronic deposit to a specific person by name violates IRS rules and said check or electronic deposit will be returned to the donor.
